Taking part in research is just one of the ways in which you can help to improve the NHS services we commission (plan and buy) on your behalf.
There are many research studies available to do with things like the testing of a new drug or technology, a service evaluation to help review services, or a pilot to test innovative treatments. By taking part in such studies, you may be asked to be a participant or a research partner. Either way, you will be asked to share your experiences which will provide valuable insights into how treatments are working or whether things need to be improved. Many studies also welcome the views of carer’s and relatives
