This JSNA contains a broad profile of the health needs of the population living in the areas covered by Manchester Health and Care Commissioning (MHCC) and some of the factors that contribute to these.
The JSNA also looks at a number of specific topic areas in more depth. Constructing the JSNA in this way allows us to look at the health needs of the local population in both breadth and depth.
The needs of the local population, identified in the JSNA, then informs how MHCC commissions health services in Manchester.
