Staff and volunteers working at the Covid-19 Vaccination Site in Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre have been raising money for Children in Need, a charity which helps children and young people in the UK to be safe, happy, and secure.
To raise money, the team, shook their buckets whilst wearing their stylish Pudsey ears. Visitors to the site were also able to watch Children in Need videos while waiting for their covid jabs.
Stephen Lancashire, Operations Manager said: “On behalf of the Wythenshawe, Northenden and Brooklands PCN’s, I’m incredibly proud of the effort from our staff at Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre LVS in Wythenshawe.
We raised a fantastic amount at our four clinics during the Children in Need weekend. The reaction of the general public was heart-warming with their generosity and enthusiasm for the cause.
Children in Need like most charities through the pandemic, will have been impacted and we’re delighted we could help.”
As a result of the generous donations from the people of south Manchester and with a donation from the Primary Care Network, they raised a fantastic £691.90. A huge thank you and well done to all involved!
