Patients Feedback Digitally
Patients in north Manchester can now give digital feedback on their GP services at their practice.
The feedback – collected using a tablet computer in the surgery – is designed to be an easy way for patients and families to rate their experience.
The information received will give practice teams more insight into patient experience – showing services that patients are happy with or think could be changed or improved.
Dr Martin Whiting, Chief Clinical Officer at North Manchester Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “The tablets, which are in most north Manchester surgeries, are a simple and convenient way for patients to record feedback about their GP consultations.
“In the first six weeks we received over 1400 responses from patients – with more than 85% saying they would recommend their practice to friends and family. However, we can’t afford to be complacent and we want that percentage to increase – and the best way to do that is by listening to our patients.”
