Manchester Metropolitan University will be delivering the top up unit for those that have completed Multi-Professional Support of Learning and Assessment in Practice (MSLAP) so they can get 20 academic credits. Starting in January 2020 it will cost £200.
This unit enables students who have previously attended a non-credit bearing mentor preparation course to gain academic credits for their study. There is no taught content for this unit, but students will be provided with academic support from a personal tutor or a group workshop. In order to access this unit, students must have completed a workbook or portfolio demonstrating their competence in mentoring.
