Macmillan Cancer Improvement Partnership

Macmillan Cancer Improvement Partnership

The Macmillan Cancer Improvement Partnership (MCIP) is a radical transformation of cancer services across the City of Manchester. It is one of the largest Macmillan Cancer Support funded system redesign projects in England.

Our vision is that local people will be able to say that they have received the best cancer support and treatment from an expert team who make them feel cared for and in control.

The MCIP Board is made up of Macmillan Cancer Support, NHS Manchester CCG, people affected by cancer, GPs, NHS hospital trusts, St Ann’s Hospice and Manchester City Council to achieve this. We are also working in collaboration with the Cancer Vanguard to share learning and have complimentary aims.
