How many adult patients from Greater Manchester were being treated in ‘out of area’ acute mental health beds in the private sector and what is the cost per night?

What is the surge capacity for Greater Manchester adult patients with mental health issues? How frequently are surge beds used? Surge capacity referring to any temporary placement of a mental health patient in a setting that is not a recognised inpatient bed allocation (such as the use of seclusion, 136 facilities and waiting rooms as inpatient beds)

What is the cost to place someone being discharged from an acute ward into supportive accommodation per night? If there are a wide variety of costs, please provide an average and the price range.
