Funding of the merged GP practices covering the same financial period 2013/2014 to 2017/2018. I would like to know what the contract value was after the merger.

Our response

Under the national GMS contract terms individual Practices are only obliged to disclose publicly the profits they make annually, not the contract value.  NHS England or CCG reporting does not usually disclose individual Practice contracts/revenue values.  Normally reporting for Board Meetings (Public Documents) is done at an aggregated level.

Core GMS contract values are based on the Standing Financial Entitlements under the GMS contract which is publicly available (https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/975395/GMS_SFE_2021.pdf

Page 97 refers to all documents covering previous annual amendments to the Standing Financial Entitlements).  Within this it describes the methodology used to calculate Practice core contract values.

Any merger that occurred before April 2017 relates to a period before Manchester CCG came into existence.  Therefore, any further enquiry related to this period needs to be directed to NHS England.
