Autism assessment information

You asked

Do you have a locally commissioned NHS autism assessment service for adults? And if so:

What is the name and address of the service?

What are the current waiting times for new patients being referred to this service?

Our response

Manchester CCG commissions Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust to provide an autism assessment service.  The address is:

Manor House,

5 Queen’s Rd,

Urmston,

Manchester M41 9HE.  We have commissioned a waiting list initiative with the service so that all those waiting will be seen by the end of the calendar year

Does your CCG have any other contracts, for example with other agencies, companies, or localities, to provide autism assessment services for adults? And if so:

Who are these contracts with? (Please provide the provider name and address as a minimum)

What are the current waiting times for new patients being referred? When are the current contracts due to end?

As part of the waiting list initiative the provider has sub-contracted with a number of providers to offer assessments and they will hold these details
