Equality delivery system

The Equality Delivery System (EDS2) is a national toolkit that helps NHS organisations like MHCC to provide better working practices and environments, free of discrimination.

We use the EDS2 to set our equality objectives as required by the Public Sector Equality Duty. It helps us to understand how well we are responding to the equality issues that matter most to patients and staff. It also aids us to track our performance against national benchmarks, including the NHS Outcomes Framework and Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidance.
