Greater Manchester good employment charter

The Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter is a voluntary membership and assessment scheme that aims to raise employment standards across Greater Manchester, for all organisations of any size, sector or geography.

The Charter has three tiers:

  • Supporters – Employers that support the aim of the Charter and have made a commitment to improving practice in all characteristics of good employment
  • Members – Employers that have made the Supporter Commitment and meet the membership criteria in all characteristics of the Charter
  • Advocates – Individuals that excel in characteristics of good employment and share their expertise with others to support the aim of the Charter

As a supporter of the Good Employment Charter we fully support the Charter’s seven good employment principles.

These employment principles set out what good employment practice, effective employee engagement and good and fair employment looks like.
